The Driftdancer, as the name suggests, is a wobbling lure that dances from side to side even when the boat is simply drifting, meaning at very low reel retrieve speeds. It is therefore best suited for slower presentations, during which it consistently darts left and right. When retrieved faster or twitched with the rod, it begins to vibrate. In the sea, you can let it sink all the way to the bottom and retrieve it at roughly one reel turn per second with occasional rod jerks. In deep rivers, you can hold this lure in the current and let it work close to the bottom. On lakes, you can easily cover a large area near the bottom. It has a very fast sinking rate of approximately 1.5 meters per second. During a free fall to the bottom, it subtly wobbles from side to side. Its balanced weight and internal lead system provide outstanding casting performance, making it easy to achieve extremely long casts. It is equipped with high-quality split rings and treble hooks mounted on a single wire running through the entire lure. This significantly reduces the risk of losing a big fish — even if the lure body gets damaged and the wire pulls out, you will still keep the fish on the line. If you cast and start retrieving immediately instead of letting the lure sink all the way to the bottom, it will run at an approximate depth of two meters. This makes it one of the most versatile lures on the market.
